At the Perth Veterinary Clinic, we take great pride in being able to provide prompt and personalized care for our patients and clients. Unfortunately due to the ongoing shortage of veterinarians in rural Ontario, we are unable to continue to offer after hours emergency services for our companion animal patients (dogs, cats). This decision was not taken lightly, and we always aim to serve our clients and our community to the best of our ability.
We will soon have a professional veterinary technician triage service to assist you in determining the most appropriate treatment plan for your pet outside of our business hours. Continue to call the regular clinic number after hours for assistance.
For emergency assistance you will be directed to 24-hour emergency clinics in Kanata, Ottawa or Kingston.
Food animal and equine farm services will not be affected by this change.
