March 20th, 2022
On Monday March 21, 2022 the Ontario government will lift the masking mandate in Ontario for most settings and businesses. This includes veterinary clinics. If you are coming to the clinic, the choice of wearing a face covering is up to you.
Scheduled appointments:
Our protocol for appointments will remain unchanged. When you arrive at the clinic, please call from your parking spot or notify one of our staff at the door. Please let our staff know if you would prefer to remain in your vehicle while your pet is brought inside for their appointment.
If you are feeling unwell or have any Covid-19 symptoms, please make arrangements for someone else to bring your pet or reschedule your appointment.
When an exam room is ready for you and your pet, one of our staff will come out to get you or give you a call. Due to space restrictions, only one person is allowed for appointments with their pet with an exception for compassionate reasons. Masks or face coverings are optional for everyone entering the clinic.
Food and prescription orders:
These will continue with curbside deliveries as we have found this is the most efficient option for our clients and our staff at this time. Call the clinic (613-267-7373) or email (reception@perthvet.ca) to place your order or prescription request. This helps our staff serve you more efficiently. Please allow 24 hours for prescription orders, or longer if your pet’s prescription or food is a specialty order product. Remember to check out myvetstore.ca to have your food and other pet products delivered right to your door! Let us know if you need help creating an account.
Our staff is working extremely hard to serve our clients as efficiently as possible. Please be patient as we do our best to help you. Aggressive behaviour and any kind of verbal or physical abuse towards our team members will not be tolerated.
Thank you again to you, our clients, for entrusting us with the care of your precious companions.
Take care and be safe!
