Dr. Robertson grew up in the Woodville area in Central Ontario on a beef farm. He has always had a strong interest in agriculture and wanted his career to be involved in that industry. He completed his veterinary degree at the University of Guelph in 1997 and then joined the Perth Veterinary Clinic. In 2002, Dr. Robertson became a co-owner.
Dr. Robertson is a mixed animal practitioner and spends the majority of his working time with farm animal medicine and surgery. He is a keen advocate for optimizing herd health especially after graduating from the two year dairy health management certificate program at the University of Guelph in 2004.
Dr. Robertson and his wife have three children which occupy a lot of their non-working life! If he has a spare moment, he enjoys woodworking, camping/canoeing/hiking, photography and playing guitar.
